Earn Credits for Reading Articles

CMAJ is an accredited provider of Mainpro+ certified Self-Learning credits.

CMA members could earn Mainpro+ Self Learning credits by completing an "Impact Assessment" after reading an eligible CMAJ article. CMAJ will transfer a value of 0.5 credits to the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) on your behalf after you complete and submit your "impact assessment". 

Members could also ear Maintenance of Certification, or "MOC", (Section 2) credits from the RCPSC for reading articles in CMAJ by submitting their requests directly to RCPSC.

Instructions

1. Visit the Current Articles for Credit section (approx. 1 page down) on the CMAJ Earning CPD Credits page. You can also find articles for credit listed in the weekly Table of Contents email.
2. Read the article(s) for which you would like to earn credits
3. Click on the Related Content at the top of the article and click on the Yes tab under Earn CPD Credits
4. Login to your cma.ca account. You can also create a free account if you are a CMA member
5. Complete the Impact Assessment and then click submit
6. Enter your CFPC membership number if you haven't done so already
