Access any journal article - here's how!

by Jessica Kelly on 2024-09-10T09:00:00-06:00 | 0 Comments

Don’t pay out of your own pocket for an article! The SHA Library has tools you can use - such as LibKey Nomad and Google Scholar Library Links - to simplify access to journal articles we don’t subscribe to.

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that facilitates access to full-text journal articles when using PubMed, Google, Wikipedia and other licensed databases and journal websites. It provides a direct link to the PDF or a form to request a copy from the SHA Library. Use this tutorial to install Libkey Nomad.

Google Scholar searches scholarly literature from undefined sources and is not as comprehensive as Medline or PubMed. We know you use it! Use this tutorial to add the SHA Library to your library links. When searching, you will see the SHA Library link appear next to the results when the full-text article is available.
