The primary goal of COPS is provide cancer patients with care, treatment and support in or near their home communities. COPS Centres have nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and social workers who are specially trained in providing cancer care. They remain in close contact with cancer care teams in Saskatoon and Regina.

The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency is committed to providing patients with the best possible care, programs and overall experience. We also want to ensure that you are involved in your care.
We understand at times, you may have questions or concerns that your healthcare team may not be able to answer to your satisfaction or provide resolution to. The Quality of Care Coordinator is a patient advocate who can help you get the answers you need.
We encourage you to speak with your healthcare team first, involving the site manager if necessary. If they are unable to provide you with the answers you need, please contact the Quality of Care Coordinator for additional assistance.

Patient Navigation
A diagnosis of cancer can often be overwhelming for patients and their loved ones. New patient navigation services are available for patients referred to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre and the Saskatoon Cancer Centre, to assist patients, families and/or their caregivers in a complex health environment. The navigators will talk to you about your concerns, provide information on the cancer centres and help you find the services, supports and cancer related information you need in a timely manner. These professional navigators will guide you through the physical, emotional and financial maze that can happen with a cancer diagnosis, help you make informed decisions, and give you the level of support you and your family need at the time you need it.
