Micromedex Apps

New Micromedex app available now!

The following existing apps are now available within one app:

  • Drug Reference
  • Drug Interaction
  • IV Compatibility

The legacy apps for these will be retired within 90 days.  Please download the new app for uninterrupted access.

The NeoFax and Pediatrics apps are still separate, but future updates will include merging them into the new consolidated app.

To download the Micromedex app:

  1. Download the app from the App Store or Play Store
  2. Open the app. The app will display an activation code. 
  3. To activate the app: Go to the Micromedex online activation page and enter the code.
  4. Click "Activate Device".

 

To download the NeoFax and Pediatrics apps:

  1. To activate the apps: Go to the Micromedex Mobile Application Access page
  2. Select "Micromedex Mobile Apps Access (Included with subscription)".
  3. Find the password(s) near the bottom of the "Legacy Mobile Apps Access" section. 

Note: You will be asked to update your password on an annual basis for NeoFax and Pediatrics. The apps will remind you when it's time. This can be done by repeating the steps on this page. 

Micromedex contains comprehensive drug information and includes NeoFax/Pediatrics, Trissel's 2 IV Compatibility, Drug Interactions, and Clinical Calculators.

  • Micromedex app provides access to full drug monographs, drug interactions, IV compatibility, and clinical calculators. 

Access the desktop version of Micromedex

  • Micromedex NeoFax app provides access to full drug monographs and enteral formula information for full-term babies up to 28 days of age (PNA) and preterm babies up to 44 weeks postmenstrual age (GA + PNA).
  • Micromedex Pediatrics app provides access to full drug monographs and enteral formula information for full-term babies 29 days of age and older (postnatal age) and preterm babies over 44 weeks postmenstrual age, up to 18 years of age.
