Nursing Reference Center Plus App

To download the Nursing Reference Center Plus app:

  1. Download the Nursing Reference Center Plus app from the App Store or Play Store.
  2. Go to the desktop version of Nursing Reference Center Plus.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and tap the "NRC Plus Mobile App Access" link.
  4. Enter your email address to send yourself an authentication link. (Use an email that you can access from your mobile device)
  5. You should now receive an email from donotreply@ebsco.com. Open the message from your mobile device.
  6. In the email message, you will see a blue link that says 'authentication key'. Tap the link and the Nursing Reference Center Plus app should open automatically. (Note: If you don't complete this step within 24 hours, then you will have to repeat step 4 again).
  7. Once the app has opened it will take you to the Terms of Use screen. Select 'I Accept' at the bottom of the screen.
  8. You will now be given two options where you have to decide if you want to install with images to your device or not.  Installing with images means you can see them even if you are offline, but this takes up more space on your device. Installing without images means you can only see them when you have an internet connection, but it takes up less space on your device. Choose the option you feel is best for you.
  9. The app will now finish downloading and this may take about 10-15 minutes.

Note: Every 9 months you will need to renew your access by repeating steps 2-6 of these instructions.
